Terms of engagement.
What the firm undertakes
To find, vet and engage a preceptor or field-experience placement that your program will count, and to file the affiliation, credential and compliance papers that placement requires. Practicumpartners is an independent practice; it is not part of any university, licensing board or accrediting body, and none endorses or sponsors it.
What the firm declines
Instructions to secure a grade, to produce a particular preceptor by name, to place a client at a site the program forbids, or to engage any site whose supervision rule cannot be met. Each is declined in writing before a fee is quoted.
What the firm asks of a client
A truthful account of the program and the term, documents produced when the associate calls for them, and presence at every hour engaged. Where a placement is lost to a false account or to absence, the firm is not obliged to replace it.
What the firm charges
A fee quoted in writing before the matter opens, which does not change unless the placement does. The quote also says when payment is due, and what comes back to you should no placement be engaged.
How an engagement ends
By notice from either side. Work performed is charged as quoted, and papers already filed with a school remain on file there unless the school itself requires them back.
