Re: Privacy

What stays inside the matter.

The firm will hold

Only what the matter requires: your name, a means of contact, the program you are in, the state and the term dates, your own account of the placement, and, from the day a clinic is engaged, the papers that clinic and your school insist on: the agreement, the preceptor's credentials, the compliance items, the hour logs, the evaluations. Nothing about a client is sold, rented or traded, and nothing is collected for its own sake.

The firm will show it to

The partner giving the opinion, the associate carrying the matter, and the head of client service, and no one else inside the firm. Outside it, a clinic learns who you are only once the shortlist carries your approval; a school gets the packet its template asks for and nothing more.

The firm will keep it for

The length of the term, plus the audit period your program prescribes. After that the matter is closed and its papers are destroyed, or returned where a school's rule says they must be.

The firm will, on request

Show you the file, correct it, or destroy a closed file early. A telephone call or a note through the contact page is enough, and the associate who carried the matter answers it.

The firm's website will

Remember three things and no more: what you wrote, where on the site you wrote it, and a browser token that keeps a chat from resetting between pages. The forms and the live chat need those; no advertising tracker runs on it.
